Century City offices of firm specializing in plaintiff-side Workers' Compensation cases, is currently seeking a skilled Workers' Compensation Case Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join the team.

Job Description: As a Workers' Compensation Case Manager you will be a key player in our client’s mission to advocate for injured workers. The successful candidate will leverage their experience in managing plaintiff-side Workers' Compensation cases, ensuring efficient case progression and providing support to their legal team.

Responsibilities:

  • Case Management: Oversee plaintiff-side Workers' Compensation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for successful outcomes.

  • Client Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and offering support throughout the case.

  • Medical Records and Documentation: Request, review, and organize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation to support legal proceedings.

  • Communication with Attorneys: Collaborate closely with attorneys to provide crucial case updates, contribute to legal strategies, and facilitate effective client representation.

  • Court Filings: Prepare and file necessary legal documents with workers' compensation boards, adhering to all deadlines and procedural requirements.

  • Settlement Negotiations: Assist in the negotiation of settlements, working closely with attorneys and clients to achieve favorable resolutions.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Workers' Compensation Case Manager on the plaintiff side.

  • In-depth knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and processes in California.

  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in case management software and Microsoft Office suite.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
